GRANGE PARK IS SCRUFFY
7th August 2017
SENT IN FROM A RESIDENT:
I have on a number of occasions (and some with Cllr Dabrowska’s help) reported fly tipping on the green in Grange Park. From the pictures you can see the various things being dumped – including a mattress on one occasion recently!
The Council have come each time to clear it away – which is good. However, it feels like we are treating the symptom, not the cause and putting a stop to the fly tipping. It would be great if we could get the Council to put in a mobile surveillance camera to catch the perpetrators and put a stop it.
I would be grateful if local residents can be vigilant as well to keep our green areas clear of rubbish and fly tipping.
PS the recent windy day appeared to take down the tree in the middle of the green. This has also been reported to the Council who have taken it away. Will we be getting a new one though?
