CPZ Review – Zone G residents are being consulted

It has come to Cllr Joanna Dabrowska’s attention that Ealing Council officers have forgotten to inform Ealing Common ward councillors of the Zone G CPZ Review Consultation.

Whilst highways officers discussed it with Cllr Dabrowska in February, she highlighted that the zone G residents that fall within her ward don’t have an issue with the current CPZ restrictions.
The issue has arisen for zone G residents living near the Hilcrest Road area (South Acton ward) who have daytime parking issues due to the proximity to Acton’s shopping precinct.
However, as the zone spans both wards, the whole zone needs to be reconsulted. South Acton Ward Forum funds have funded the review.

Cllr Dabrowska recommends, if the ‘eastern’ residents vote for a change to a full day zone, splitting zone G into two. The boundary will become clear once we have the results in and we will review the data road by road to see if there is a decisive boundary.
